Young Tina Turner first started performing for church choir at Nutbush’s Spring Hill Baptist Church. She began her professional career with Ike Turner's Kings of Rhythm in 1957. She made her big screen debut in comedy movie Taking Off (1971) in role as Herself. She got her television debut in concert film The Big T.N.T Show (1966). Tina's breakthrough came as one-half of musical husband-wife duo Ike & Tina Turner Revue (1960-1976). She released her debut studio album "Tina Turns the Country On!" in 1974.
