Ming-Na Wen was born in Coloane, Portuguese Macau, on November 20, 1963, is an American actress.

Young Ming-Na Wen first started performing in school theater production, in a third grade Easter play, in role as klutzy bunny.

She made her big screen debut in science fiction movie Rain Without Thunder (1993) in role as "Uudie" Prisoner.

She got her television debut in educational children's series Mister Rogers' Neighborhood (1985) in role as Royal Trumpeter.

Her breakthrough performance came as Jing-Mei "June" Woo in drama film The Joy Luck Club (1993).
