Young Linda Gray first started her career as a model and in television commercials in the 1960s. She made her big screen debut in comedy film Palm Springs Weekend (1963) in uncredited role as Girl at Pool with Yellow Swimsuit. She got her television debut in ABC medical drama program Marcus Welby, M.D. (1974) in episode "The Resident", in role as Patsy Grey. Linda's breakthrough performance came as Sue Ellen Ewing in CBS soap opera Dallas (1978–1989, 1991). She landed her Broadway debut in production of "The Graduate" (2002) in role as Mrs. Robinson.
