Alicia Christian "Jodie" Foster was born in Los Angeles, California, United States, on November 19, 1962, is an American actress and director.
Young Jodie Foster first started her career as a child model, in television advertisement as Coppertone girl (1965), at the age of three.
She began her acting career in CBS sitcom Mayberry R.F.D (1968) in a role as Fairy.
She made her big screen debut in adventure drama movie Napoleon and Samantha (1972), in role as Samantha.
