Honor Blackman was born in Plaistow, Essex, England, on August 22, 1925, was an English actress. Young Honor Blackman first started her acting career on stage in London's West End as an understudy in a play "The Guinea Pig". She made her big screen debut in drama film Fame Is the Spur (1947) in uncredited role as Emma. She got her television debut in crime drama thriller film Joseph Proctor's Money (1951) in role as Ruth Marsh. Honor's breakthrough performance came as Cathy Gale in British espionage television series The Avengers (1962–1964).
