Young Evan Rachel Wood first started performing with local regional theater company "Theatre In The Park" in Raleigh.

She appeared in her father's musical comedy adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" (1987), when she was a few months old.

She got her television debut in drama film In the Best of Families: Marriage, Pride & Madness (1994), in role as Little Susie.

She made her big screen debut in drama movie Digging to China (1998) in role as Harriet Frankovitz, at the age of 9.
