Claudia Cardinale was born in La Goulette, Tunisia, on April 15, 1938, is an Italian Tunisian actress.
Young Claudia Cardinale began her career in beauty contest, she won a "Most Beautiful Italian Girl in Tunisia" (1957), at the age of 17.
She made her big screen debut in French-Tunisian drama film Goha (1958) in role as Amina, opposite Omar Sharif.
Her breakthrough performance came as Carmelina in Italian comedy film Big Deal on Madonna Street (1958) with Marcello Mastroianni.
She got her American movie debut in comedy The Pink Panther (1963) in role as The Princess, opposite Peter Sellers and David Niven.
