She made her big screen debut in film noir D.O.A. (1949) in role as Miss Foster. She got her television debut in Western series The Lone Ranger (1950) in episode "The Beeler Gang", in role as Laura Lawson. Beverly's breakthrough performance came as Casey Jones in crime drama television series Decoy (1957-1959).
