Young Alyson Hannigan first started her career in commercials, at the age of 4.

She made her big screen debut in comedy film Impure Thoughts (1986) in role as Patty Stubbs.

She got her television debut in ABC fantasy sitcom Free Spirit (1989-1990) in role as Jessie Harper.

Her breakthrough performance came as Willow Rosenberg in The WB supernatural drama television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003).
