Angelina Jolie was born in Los Angeles, California, United States, on June 4, 1975, is an American actress.

Young Angelina Jolie made her big screen debut when she was seven years old, in comedy film Lookin' to Get Out (1982) in role as Tosh, with her father Jon Voight.

She began studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, at the age of eleven.

She started her modeling career at the age of fourteen, signed with Finesse Model Management.

She got her first major role as Casella "Cash" Reese in science fiction action film Cyborg 2 (1993).

She landed her television debut in CBS miniseries True Women (1997) in role as Georgia Lawshe Woods.

Her breakthrough performance came as Gia Carangi in biographical drama film Gia (1998).
