Kristen Jaymes Stewart was born in Los Angeles, California, United States, on April 9, 1990, is an American actress.

Young Kristen Stewart first started acting in her elementary school's Christmas play.

She got her television debut in Disney Channel comedy drama film The Thirteenth Year (1999) in uncredited role as Girl in Fountain Line.

She made her big screen debut in comedy film The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000) in role as Ring Toss Girl.

She landed her first major role as Madeline "Maddy" Rose Phillips in adventure comedy film Catch That Kid (2004).

Her breakthrough performance came as Sarah in thriller drama film Panic Room (2002) for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actress in a Feature Film.

She made her directorial debut with short movie Come Swim (2017).
