Will Smith was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S., on September 25, 1968, is an American actor and rapper.

Young Will Smith first started his career as a rapper under name "The Fresh Prince" in 1980s.

He began rapping at home and in school, at the age of 12.

He got his first big break as MC of hip-hop duo "DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince", with disc jockey Jeff Townes, they released first album "Rock the House" in 1987.

Will's breakthrough performance came as a fictionalized version of himself, Will "The Fresh Prince" Smith in NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990-1996).

He made his big screen debut in drama film Where the Day Takes You (1991) in role as Manny.

He released his first solo album "Big Willie Style" in 1997.
