Young Sting first started playing jazz with the Phoenix Jazzmen, Newcastle Big Band and Last Exit. He made his big screen debut in drama film Quadrophenia (1979) in role as Ace Face. He got his television debut in music video The Police "Roxanne" (1978). Sting's breakthrough came as a member of the band, The Police. He released debut studio album "Outlandos d’Amour", as a part of band The Police in 1978. He released his debut solo studio album "The Dream of The Blue Turtles" in 1985.
