Roger George Moore was born in Stockwell, London, England, on October 14, 1927, was an English actor.

Young Roger Moore began his professional acting career in 1945.

He made big screen debut in drama film Perfect Strangers (1945) in uncredited role as Sailor.

He got his television debut in BBC drama movie The Governess (1949) in role as Bob Drew.

Roger's breakthrough performance came as Simon Templar in British mystery spy thriller television series The Saint (1962-1969).
