Reginald Carey "Rex" Harrison was born in Huyton, Lancashire, England, on March 5, 1908, was an English actor. Young Rex Harrison first started his career on the stage at Liverpool Playhouse in 1924. He made his big screen debut in sport comedy film The Great Game (1930) in role as George. He got his television debut in educational variety series Omnibus (1952) in episode "The Trial of Anne Boleyn", in role as Henry VIII. Rex's breakthrough performance came as Alan Howard in his West End debut in a play "French Without Tears" (1936). He landed his Broadway debut in a play "Sweet Aloes" (1936) in role as Tubbs Barrow, at Booth Theatre.
