Matt Damon was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States, on October 8, 1970, is an American actor.

Young Matt Damon first started acting during his years at the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School in school theater productions.

He made his big screen debut in coming-of-age film Mystic Pizza (1988) in role as Steamer, at the age of 18.

He got his television debut in movie Rising Son (1990) in role as Charlie Robinson.

Matt wrote screenplay with his friend Ben Affleck and he starred in lead role as Will Hunting in drama movie Good Will Hunting (1997), for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor and they won the Academy and a Golden Globe awards for Best Screenplay.
