Mark Strong was born in London, England, on August 5, 1963, is a British actor. Young Mark Strong first started his acting career on stage. He made his big screen debut in drama film Century (1993) in role as Policeman. He got his television debut in BBC One soap opera EastEnders (1989) in role as Telephone Engineer. Mark's breakthrough performance came as Terry "Tosker" Cox in BBC2 drama serial Our Friends in the North (1996). He landed his Broadway debut in a play "A View from the Bridge" (2015) in role as Eddie Carbone, at Lyceum Theatre, for which he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Play.
