Michael Peter Balzary, known professionally as Flea was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on October 16, 1962, is an Australian-American musician and actor. Young Flea first started playing a bass guitar at the age of 17. He made his big screen debut in coming-of-age drama film The Outsiders (1983) in uncredited role as Soc #3. He got his television debut in MTV sketch comedy series The Idiot Box (1991) in role as Mugger. Flea's breakthrough came with band Red Hot Chili Peppers fourth album Mother's Milk (1989). He released debut studio album with band "The Red Hot Chili Peppers" in 1984.
