Young Don Cheadle first started performing in high school theatrical productions, under direction of Catherine Davis. He made his screen debut in short movie 3 Days (1984) in role as Angel. He got his big screen debut in comedy movie Moving Violations (1985) in role as Juicy Burgers Worker. He landed his television debut in drama music series Fame (1986) in role as Henry Lee. Don's breakthrough performance came as Mouse Alexander in neo noir mystery film Devil in a Blue Dress (1995). He made his directorial debut with music drama movie Miles Ahead (2015), also starred as Miles Davis.
