Dane DeHaan was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States, on February 6, 1986, is an American actor.

Young Dane DeHaan first started acting in community theater.

He made his Broadway debut in the David Mamet's play "American Buffalo" (2008).

He won the Obie Award for Performance for his role as Evan in off-Broadway play "The Aliens" (2010).

He got his television debut in NBC crime drama series Law & Order Special Victims Unit (2008) in episode: "Lunacy", in role as Vincent Beckwith.

He made his big screen debut in drama movie Amigo (2010) in role as Gil.

Dane's breakthrough performance came as Lucien Carr in biographical drama film Kill Your Darlings (2013), for which he was nominated for a Gotham Award in the "Breakthrough actor" category.
