Young Bruce Campbell first started acting as a teenager and began making Super 8 movies with friend Sam Raimi, during his years at the Wylie E. Groves High School. He got his television debut in NBC soap opera Generations (1983) in role as Alan Stuart. He made his big screen debut in comedy horror movie It's Murder! (1977) in role as Cop on Bicycle. Bruce's breakthrough performance came as Ash Williams in supernatural horror film The Evil Dead (1981). He landed his directorial debut with science fiction / slapstick movie Man with the Screaming Brain (2005), which he also co-wrote, produced and starred as William Cole.
