Keanu Charles Reeves was born in Beirut, Lebanon, on September 2, 1964, is a Canadian actor.

Young Keanu Reeves first started his acting career on stage, in a production of musical comedy "Damn Yankees", at the age of 9.

He played Mercutio in a play "Romeo and Juliet", at the Leah Posluns Theatre, at the age of 15.

He made his big screen debut in drama sports movie Youngblood (1986) in role as Heaver.

He landed his television debut in CBC sitcom Hangin' In (1984) in episode "Happiness is a Warm Grover", in role as Teen Client.

Keanu's breakthrough performance came as Tod Higgins in comedy drama movie Parenthood (1989) opposite Steve Martin.
